Your hosts Maria Egger-Rieder, Dr. Andreas Egger, and the whole team feel obligated to the true and honest Tyrolean hospitality, but are open for new developments, too.
Especially in the kitchen, regional products are a central topic. We trust in authentic and honest food, which we get delivered mostly out of our direct region.
The lamb from our own farm, milk products from our regional alpine dairies, fresh fish from fish farms in our direct surrounding, herbs from our own garden, and much more are the guarantee that your visit will be a culinary experience.
We follow this philosophy not only for our own family but for our guests as well.
In 2016 we have reactivated our own agriculture. Our landlord, Andreas Egger, is taking care for a flock of sheep with 40 animals in the meantime. Those stay on our wonderful alp over the Walchsee in the summer months, and in the stable or on the fields behind the hotel over the winter, where we also have some happy chicken.
